G.R.S. Jewellery Manufacturing Limited (“GRSJM”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. The purpose of our Privacy Policy (Policy) is to help you to use the THOROUGHBRED website and graphic image content platform in a safe, secure and effective way
This Policy sets out the basis on which your personally identifying data and information (Data) we collect will be processed by GRSJM. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our assumptions and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat your Data.
If you use the GRSJM website and upload information about yourself in connection with any order or enquiry relating to our products, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Policy.
By using the website, you agree to allow GRSJM to collect information about you in connection with your purchases or prospective purchase of our products.

We treat all Data we obtain with the utmost care and in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 (Act). In the event that we do not amend this Policy after 25 May 2018 when the Act is replaced by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), our obligations will be determined by the GDPR if there is any conflict or inconsistency between the Act (as reflected in this Policy) and the GDPR.

  • we only collect Data from you that we consider necessary in order to make our website effective and useful to you and we do not keep Data for longer than is necessary;

We may collect and process the following Data about you which may include Data you give us when you create your subscriber account or register you as a customer or as part of any content or materials you upload (such as any biographical information) or within any correspondence you may have with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. The Data you give us may include but is not limited to your name, address, e-mail address and phone number and banking and payment details.

We may share your Data with employees of GRSJM on a “need to know” basis and if our company forms part of a group of companies with any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006, with members of such group.

  • business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you;

    Some partners, suppliers, contractors and affiliates of GRSJM may be outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) as will be some subscribers and customers with whom you trade by means of the service provided on our website and you consent to the transfer of your Data to them when it is necessary for the delivery of our service to you.

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

All Data you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Where you have chosen a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. ACCESS TO INFORMATION

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may, until the enforcement of the GDPR, be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you. After the GDPR enters into force, we will charge you nothing if you exercise your right of access.
